Burlesque Chair Dance has taken the Isle of Wight by storm and is one of the most popular ways to stay fit! We are celebrating Christmas with you this year at Strings Bar and Venue. We are so excited to get dressed up, props and chairs at the ready to tantalise and tease you with our beautiful, seductive routines and of course a bit of humour and fun tossed in for extra measure.
Hosted by our beautiful Lola Sparkles, we also have exciting guest appearances! We have Wight Arts's very own Shannon, who performs and teaches aerial arts including silks, hoop and pole. Shannon will be doing her sultry slow aerial hoop act for us! Be amazed by her twists, turns and splits on the hoop. It's one not to be missed!
We also have a seductive vocal production by RUBY, a singer songwriter based on the Isle of Wight. Offering solo acoustic, laid back trio or full band music for parties, corporate events and weddings. RUBY is young, vibrant and refreshing, and was Isle of Wight Radio's emerging artist in March. Her latest release, Nail In The Coffin is out now. RUBY will be performing for us a special cover of Portishead's Glory Box.
Coco Monroe will be performing with her own choreography as well as a Burlesque Chair Dance classic. Coco is an experienced dancer and performer, and has been instructing on the island for nearly 4 years. Recently having won Best Instructor for the South, and runner up for the UK!
And let's not forget the seductive performances by our gorgeous dancers from across the island. Including a performance by Miss Peaches Parfait, recently crowned Best Level 1 Dancer in the South.
There will be some Christmas tunes to get you in the spirit, but of course we will also have the down and dirty rock tunes, the seductive slow routines, and the fun fast paced cheeky numbers, to keep you entertained all night! This is our 4th show and over the years the talent has grown phenomenally and we are so excited to share this night with you.
