Zig Zag Road & The George Street Kids

Originally formed in 1978 as Cassie, the band were a fixture on the Isle of Wight gigging circuit, known for their distinctive original sound and high-energy shows. Their sole single, Change My Image, slipped into obscurity shortly after release and by 1985 the band had gone their separate ways.

Fast forward to 2020, when New York’s Reminder Records rediscovered the track, tracked down the original members, and re-released it to newfound appreciation not least with the producers of Netflix show ‘Lucifer’ who used the song in one of the episodes!

Let Music Do The Talking with Morris 'Mo' Pleasure

Multi instrumentalist and producer Morris “Mo” Pleasure has been at the forefront of American popular music for the last three decades and his CV reads like a ‘Who’s Who?’ of popular music.

Mo began his professional career playing with Ray Charles before moving on to working with the likes of George Duke, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Mary J Blige, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack and David Foster to name but a few, and he is currently Musical Director for the iconic Bette Midler.

Mo was also approached by Michael Jackson to play keyboards in his band for the ‘This is it’ tour that sadly never took place.

The Korgis

James Warren and John Baker are the Lead vocalists of The Korgis. Formed in Bath in 1978, their first hit was “If I had You” ( UK 13) in 1979 followed in 1980 by the Worldwide hit “Everybodys Got to Learn Sometime” ( UK 5) Number 1 in France and Spain and Top 10 in Australia, Netherlands and Italy.

James started his musical career in the hugely popular British prog rock band Stackridge who had an album produced by Beatles Producer George Martin. John started in Graduate alongside Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith (Tears For Fears) and they had an album produced by Tony Hatch (writer of UK and US Number 1 Downtown and numerous TV themes, Neighbours, Emmerdale, Crossroads). 

You will be treated to songs from their long career as well as songs from the people they have worked with with like Peter Gabriel,  and people they regard as great influences, The Beatles, Everly Brothers, and more.

Great stories and a laid back Acoustic musical treat.

Odyssey

Odyssey, one of the most successful soul/disco acts of their era, culminated in the early 1980’s when they topped the charts with “Use It Up and Wear It Out”, scoring several other Top Ten hits in Britain and throughout the world.

From their debut album emerged their first smash single - “Native New Yorker”, an international hit late in 1977. Lillian’s eldest son, Steven Collazo had become part of Odyssey behind the scenes from its inception, recording as a background vocalist, journeyman session musician and musical director for their live performances and tours.  A couple of years later, the group cut their “Hang Together” album.  It contained “Use It Up and Wear It Out”, while the flipside, “Don’t Tell Me, Tell Her” received major airplay on US Black Radio. In the UK, “Use It Up” shot to the top ten and number one chart hit, followed by “If You’re Looking For A Way Out”, “Inside Out”, and the Lamont Dozier classic “Going Back To My Roots”, among others.
